An opportunity for High School student athletes to participate in a sport that fosters team work, determination, perseverance, sportsmanship, and leadership. The program focuses on proper technique, boat and oar handling, rowing terminology and safety both on and off the water. Athletes compete in racing shells throughout the region against local and nationwide teams.

Capital Equipment Fee In addition to the registration fee below, a Capital Equipment Fee is due. Please make your "Capital Equipment Fee" check in the amount of $100.00 payable to: WFOR and mail to WFOR, PO Box 2011, Westford, MA 01886 This season we plan to buy a safety launch and a new rowing shell. The capital fee fuels the ongoing need for new equipment as our program grows. This is a common structure for crew programs in that the base fee goes to support day to day operating costs of our program. WFOR Crew is a non-profit organization responsible for prioritizing the expenditures from the capital equipment funds, and is managed independently from the Westford Recreation Department. As a result, this part of your payment is tax deductible as well. If you choose to add greater than 10% of the cost of the program that you are participating in we wish to thank you in advance for your generosity
