Westford Partnership for Children (WPC)
The Westford Parks & Recreation After School Enrichment Program
Monday through Friday, from school dismissal to 5:45 p.m.
Since 2004, WPC has provided the Westford community with a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for Westford elementary and middle school children during high-risk after school hours. At WPC, your child is front and center. WPC staff fosters meaningful relationships with each student, while focusing on three critical concepts: safety, positive youth development, and academic enrichment and support.
For more details about the WPC program, see the 2018-2019 Parent Handbook.

WHY choose WPC
A true enrichment program:
WPC designs a separate curriculum for grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8, with activities that encompass homework help, science, math, technology, reading and storytelling, visual arts, and sports and games. The concepts and skills your children learn in school are reinforced through both simple tasks and challenging interdisciplinary projects; many inspired by programs we have included in the curriculum, such as Play-Well TEKnologies: Intro to STEM with LEGO®, Chess Wizards, and Empow Video Game Design.
Activity options, flexible schedules, and Special Program coverage:
At WPC, you can choose from a variety of activities, with flexible days and hours, that fully support the needs of your child(ren) and your family. Plus, WPC has you covered with Special Programs, offered during Professional Development days, Conferences, and Winter (February) and Spring (April) Break.
An experienced, dedicated staff:
WPC site directors are passionate and committed, with years of experience in the education field. Their support staff — high school and college age counselors — contribute a positive, contemporary energy to the program. Most WPC counselors have taken the Parks & Recreation Leadership program. All staff is CPR and First Aid certified.
Collaboration with Westford Public Schools:
WPC has served Westford elementary schools, and middle schools, for over ten years. WPC sites are located at each elementary school, as well as Stony Brook Middle School (Blanchard students are bussed to Stony Brook), to ensure an easy and safe transition from the classroom to the program. Excellent communication between WPC and school staff supports your child’s academic, social, and emotional development.
