Westford Recreation oversees two public beaches: Forge Beach and Edwards Beach. Forge Beach, located in Forge Village, can be reached by an access road running between Stony Brook and the railroad tracks off of Rt. 225 (Pleasant Street). Edwards Beach at Nabnasset Lake is located at the end of Williams Avenue off of Plain Road. Look for lunch and delicious snacks at the beach concession stand.
Edwards Beach and Forge Beach are closed for the season as of Friday, August 25, 2017.
Season 2018: Dates to be announced in the spring.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Please note: only Coast Guard approved flotation devices in good and serviceable condition may be used at Westford Town Beaches. The PFD (Personal Flotation Device) must be the appropriate size for the intended user. No lifeguards will be on duty.

Every Week is Fun at the Beach Week (For all ages!)
During summer beach season, Parks & Recreation offers a variety of fun activities at Edwards and Forge Beaches. Activities run Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., and include Ceramics, Fun with Bubbles, Sand Art, Beach Games, Tie Dye, and more.
A 2018 schedule detailing daily events at both Forge and Edwards Beach will be posted in late spring.
Friday MOVIE Night at the Beach
During summer beach season, Friday night movies start at dusk and alternate between Edwards Beach and Forge Beach. Enjoy this GREAT selection of contemporary family friendly movies for FREE. No food or drink may be brought in for the movie, but the concession stand will be open. Bring a blanket, chair, and bug spray. 2018 dates to be announced.
