We Cover the Waterfront!
Westford Recreation oversees two public beaches: Forge Pond and Edwards Beach. Forge Pond, located in Forge Village, can be reached by an access road running between Stony Brook and the railroad tracks off of Rt. 225 (Pleasant Street). Edwards Beach at Nabnasset Lake is located at the end of Williams Avenue off of Plain Road.
Season 2018: June 17- August 25
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Fees: Westford Residents are free, but must have proof of residency. Nonresidents are $5 per person, per day. Three and under, and 65 and over are free. Nonresidents may purchase a season pass at the beaches for $75 for a family of five.

Please note: only Coast Guard approved flotation devices in good and serviceable condition may be used at Westford Town Beaches. The PFD (Personal Flotation Device) must be the appropriate size for the intended user. No lifeguards will be on duty.
Beach Concession Stand Hours: Monday-Sunday, 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Also known as " the snack shack", the Parks & Recreation Beach Concession Stands are located at both beaches, offering chips, candy, frozen treats, cold drinks, and lunch.
Swim Tests: On the water rowing programs require Swim Tests to be located at Forge Pond and Edwards Beach. Learn More>
Art at the Beach
Parks & Recreation offers a selection of arts & craft projects every Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. *Supplies can be purchased at the Parks & Recreation Concession Stand. Need assistance - just ask us, we are available to help.
For All Ages! Available at both Forge Pond and Edwards Beach.
Ceramics*: Paint a ceramic piece of your choice. Choose from a variety of styles.
Price Range $3-$10.
Sand Art*: Design your own work of art with colored sand and a bottle of your choice.
Price Range $2-$5.
Tie-Dye*: Have fun designing your own t-shirt with a variety of great tie-dye colors.

Friday MOVIE Night at the Beach
Friday night movies start at dusk! Enjoy these contemporary family friendly movies for FREE. No food or drink may be brought in for the movie, but the Parks & Recreation Concession Stand will be open. Bring a blanket, chair, and bug spray.
